Intro to Pole

New to Pole - this is where your journey begins. We will guide you into the world of pole dance and embodiment, gently and safely. Learn grips, climbs, spins, basic static moves, strength, conditioning and where power comes from. The Narnia closet doors open here.

 

Pole Lo Flo

Pants on, dance on! In this Pole Dance class, we will focus on floor-based pole sequences and grounded, flowing elements that will help you evolve your practice as a pole dancer and fluid mover. If you desire to move with more “flow", with added ease and creativity, this is the class for you! This is an entry level Pole class.

Pole Level 1

So now that you have a taste of what pole fitness is all about and you got all the basic grips down, your climbing is coming along and spin doesn’t feel so dizzying, it’s time to tip your world upside down. Build strength to invert with proper technique and alignment and grow your spins & static work in intensity in pole level 1.

 

Pole Power Hour

Wanna get Ninja strong? Take Pole Power! Here you will learn the technique and physics of Pole Dancing without much of the dancing. Clean condition your mounts, climbs, and static spins. This is a no frills technical class. Must take an Intro to Pole and Beginner Level Pole before coming to this class.

Pole Tweener

This is not a level one class and it is also not a level two class, It’s the in between class. So it’s like a 1.5 class and it’s perfect for you if you want to level up just a little bit!

 
 

Stretch it Out

It’s not Pole, it’s not Yoga. It’s not Flexibility. It’s just a super delicious stretch class.

 
 

Stretch It Out

Do you want to attain and maintain that insane flexibility you need to accelerate in your Pole Dancer life. This is a fun mash up of Yoga, Flex, Conditioning, and Restorative movement and, it’s not boring.

Pole Level 2

Perfect for someone who needs more of a challenge. Now that your inverts are smooth, you nailed those leg hangs on both sides and you conquered the shoulder mount, time to put it all together with longer combos, faster spins and incorporating more flexibility and making all the BODY ART.

What Can I expect to happen in my Pole Dance Class?

If you are taking a traditional, 75 minute Pole Dance Class at Embody Pole Dance, it will include a sweaty and fun dance based warmup. After the warm-up, you will hit the poles with or without a partner ( space provided ) and learn a sexy, floor based, flow. The second portion of most classes will focus on learning how to mount the pole and creating beautiful transitions from shapes and spins . The final portion of the class is for movement exploration. Each student will have some time to weave the pieces and parts of the class together to create their own expression of the dance. All classes are level appropriate.
